To help individuals become more employable and self-sufficient, and in turn help break the cycle of poverty and hunger, the Kauai
Independent Food Bank offers job training and skill building to numerous volunteers and temporary employees in our warehouse and office.
SEE Program
SEE Hawaii Work is
an innovative initiative of the State of Hawaii which
partners with local employers to help families receiving
TANF secure and maintain employment; and is fully funded
by the Department of Human Services.
OJT Program
On-The-Job
Training (OJT) is a 100% federally-funded program
targeted toward employers to help defray their training
costs when hiring laid-off or "dislocated" workers.
This program is a great opportunity for employers to
hire new employees while minimizing their overall
training costs.
