  Vocational Rehabilitation

To help individuals become more employable and self-sufficient, and in turn help break the cycle of poverty and hunger, the Kauai Independent Food Bank offers job training and skill building to numerous volunteers and temporary employees in our warehouse and office.

SEE Program

SEE Hawaii Work is an innovative initiative of the State of Hawaii which partners with local employers to help families receiving TANF secure and maintain employment; and is fully funded by the Department of Human Services.

OJT Program

On-The-Job Training (OJT) is a 100% federally-funded program targeted toward employers to help defray their training costs when hiring laid-off or "dislocated" workers.  This program is a great opportunity for employers to hire new employees while minimizing their overall training costs.
