Kauai Food Bank accepts food donations from more than 50 grocery/retail stores, hotels, and distributors, local growers, America’s Second Harvest, and the USDA, plus countless individual donors. In 2005, nearly 1 million pounds of food was weighed, salvaged, sorted, and stored prior to distribution to more than 60 authorized non-profit agencies and churches who in turn feed their needy clients.
