PRIVACY POLICY

KFB uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of its online visitors.  We do not collect potentially identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly.  This means we do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site.  The information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site.

If you visit our site to read, or download information such as publications, forms, or graphics, we collect and store the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser you are using and your operating system; the date and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site

This information is used to determine the number of visitors to the different sections of the site.  We use it to make the site more useful.  The information is usually deleted from the server after a year.

KFB only gathers personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip/postal codes, addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor.  For example, personally identifier information may be collected in order to respond to a stated desire to volunteer time or to make a donation online.  This information is used solely by KFB or other entities who are involved in the operation of this site for internal purposes.  KFB lists are never sold or distributed to other organizations.  We will only share personally identifiable information with third parties when the parties submitting the information authorizes us to share it or we are required by law

We use industry-standard encryption technologies or SSL when transferring and receiving data.  We have security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from or about you.
